The Cleburne Education Foundation (CEF) grew out of a committee known as “Friends of Cleburne,” formed in 2009 to provide a positive voice and financial support for Cleburne ISD. Funded entirely through donations, CEF raises private dollars to enhance educational opportunities not covered by local, state, or federal funding. Since 2012, our funding has grown to include many types of awards that reach every student in math, reading, science, social studies, physical education, fine arts, career readiness, first-time teacher awards and much more! Strong schools build a strong community. As Cleburne grows, investing in quality public education is vital to our future success. When we come together in support of our schools, we create opportunities for every student to thrive.
The Cleburne Education Foundation is funded 100% by private donations. We are not a department of the school district, but a bridge between Cleburne ISD and our community, connecting generosity with opportunity to support students and teachers.
Our mission is to seek and secure resources that expand and enrich educational opportunities for all students in Cleburne ISD. As a community partner, CEF works alongside educators, families, and supporters who share a common goal: investing in the success of every learner.
